Mission
The Toano Historical Society is a non-profit organization founded to inspire a new sense of community spirit, promote interest in our history, and preserve our small town character and its history.
Vision
We aspire to:
- Combat community deterioration by supporting Main Street Revitalization.
- Partner with James City County to pass a resolution establishing Toano as an Historic District.
- Help secure sources of funding via public grants and private contributions to make streetscape and other improvements that will benefit Toano.
