The Toano Historical Society is pleased to announce and welcome Deidre McAuley Hayes as Member At-Large to our board! Deidre is from the small town of Troy, NC. Because of Toano’s “small town” feel, she and her husband Keith have made Toano their home. She is an Intellectual Property Attorney and currently works remotely for Wood IP Law in Maryland. She is also an Adjunct Professor for Christopher Newport University (CNU) in Newport News, VA. In addition to THS, she enjoys spending time with her family, friends and her church, and she is a horse enthusiast.
