THS Fall Event for Members and Special Guests!

The Toano Historical Society is excited to be holding a Fall event for THS members and special guests! On October 21, 2021, we are hosting guest speaker Ed McMahon, the former Chair of Main Street America and current Chair of Sustainable Development and Economic Policy for the Urban Land Institute in Washington DC. He will be speaking on historic preservation and community revitalization as it pertains to Toano. The event starts at 6:30pm at the Martin-Farinholt Store located at 7882 Richmond Road, Toano.  Due to limited space, this event is by invitation only for members and special guests.

If you are not currently a member and wish to be included in future THS member events, check out how to join by clicking on the Membership button.  We’d love to have you!

Notice about this event: COVID-19 remains a concern in our community.  We ask that all attendees either be vaccinated or have a negative COVID test within 3 days of the event to protect all the attendees. Masks are encouraged. We will continue to monitor the VA state guidelines as the event approaches and will provide any updated information on this website.
